Pre-Kindy

In Pre-Kindy we are all about learning through imaginative, cognitive and sensory play, in both the indoors and outdoors. We learn to socialise and take turns, and are introduced to basic routines and rituals. Our education program is guided and underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework of Being, Becoming and Belonging.

There is always lots of fun to be had including activities such as cooking, story and singing time, and our 'Walk of the Week' through the school , where we visit the chickens, the prayer garden, the library and so forth. This helps us to develop that sense of 'belonging' to a larger community. Our Early Childhood Staff support and encourage children’s investigation, inquiry, wonder and nature based play.

We believe that partnerships with families are important and as such we welcome conversation, suggestions and communication.

All children can attend Pre-Kindy at Padbury Catholic Primary School once they have turned 3 years of age.  Pre-Kindy operates every Tuesday and Thursday.
